Commissioning
Building owners and developers, who invest large amounts of capital into construction projects, expect that their facilities will operate as intended. Syska’s commissioning team verifies that they do: After construction, team members test and evaluate the performance of systems and equipment to make sure that it aligns with specifications and that it supports operational optimization, energy efficiency, reliability, and resiliency.
Our commissioning team has worked for more than 20 years with building owners and managers worldwide across a variety of sectors, including commercial interiors, critical facilities, education, government, healthcare, mixed-use, retail, science, and technology. Although actual commissioning commences post-construction, work often begins during the design phase, when the team reviews the project requirements and design documents and creates a plan, and continues through the construction phase. Services include commissioning for LEED certification, development of operational scripts, retro-commissioning for operational improvements, and design review.
