Infrastructure
Syska designs and consults on infrastructure, which serves as the lifeblood of a building or campus, supporting the generation and delivery of power, air, water, gas, and information and communication technology. For more than 50 years, we have helped clients maintain, assess, or replace critical components of their infrastructure, such as chiller and boiler plants, while integrating them with systems and new technologies to improve energy efficiency and lower operating costs.
Because infrastructure is so closely tied to utilities, Syska frequently assesses the capacity of local jurisdictions to meet demand for systems in new developments before construction begins. Such assessments help our clients make critical decisions on design and budgetary allocations, and in some instances, secure grants or capital. For replacement and renovation projects on busy campuses, we advise on the phasing of work so that users are not inconvenienced.
