Syska has extensive experience in designing systems at healthcare facilities across the U.S. and internationally. These systems, which include MEP, fire protection, life safety, lighting, security, audiovisual, and IT, play an essential role in supporting the health and wellbeing of patients. Our projects range from small upgrades and renovations at acute-care, ambulatory, and specialty-care facilities, to complex, large-scale hospitals, for ground-up construction, replacements, or expansions.  

With every project, we focus on maintainability, low operating costs, and flexibility that allows healthcare providers to repurpose their spaces and incorporate new technologies as needed. Equally important objectives are patient comfort and safety, which we achieve through advanced cooling and heating techniques, air filtration for infection control, and displacement ventilation. Many of these techniques play a dual role: They also help our clients minimize energy expenditures.
