Syska has worked with a wide range of educational institutions, from K-12 schools to colleges and universities, designing systems that support teaching and learning in amenity-rich environments. Our projects include a wide range of building types, such as academic centers, laboratories, common areas, libraries, athletic facilities, and performing arts centers.  You can see the results of our work in places like UCLA, Cornell University, Tufts, Yale, MIT, Fordham University, and the Manhattan location of Avenues School, among other prestigious institutions.

The services we offer differ according to building type, but our capabilities include the design of MEP, fire protection, vertical transportation, and architectural lighting systems, along with information and communications systems. In every instance, we make sure that the systems accommodate not only current demand, but also future needs. We also help our clients integrate their building operating systems with smart building platforms to improve operational efficiency and deliver significant cost-savings. Further cost-savings stem from our decarbonization strategies, which help our clients attain LEED, net-zero, and Living Building Petal certifications.
