Summit Health, Clifton, New Jersey

This project involved the interior fit-out of approximately 95,000 square feet within an existing 173,000-square-foot, three-story office building. The original interior was fully demolished down to the shell, creating a blank canvas that was transformed into a modern, state-of-the-art clinical facility.

Syska Hennessy provided full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, telecommunications, security, audiovisual, and vertical transportation services to support the redevelopment. As part of the scope, new air handling units were installed on Pod C to ensure optimal performance for advanced imaging services.

Pod C was developed to include a stat laboratory, phlebotomy stations, two linear accelerators, a CT simulator, 3T and 1.5T MRI units, a CT scanner, a PET/CT scanner, two radiology rooms, three ultrasound rooms, and a bone densitometry suite. The second floor of Pod C was designed to accommodate clinic exam rooms and administrative offices, providing a seamless workflow for both clinical and support staff.

Pod B was constructed to house oncology and related services, featuring a USP 800-compliant pharmacy, 20 infusion chairs, two phlebotomy stations, a CBC laboratory, as well as additional exam rooms and administrative offices. The completed fit-out delivers a fully integrated clinical environment capable of supporting a wide range of healthcare services.
