Syska Hennessy designed engineering and technology systems for the new Ally Financial Center building. This includes the core and shell design for the 472,000 sf, 26-story building for the developer, Crescent, as well as the interior fit-out of 14 floors for Ally Financial. When the 14-floor fit-out is complete in Phase 1, Syska will provide technology design for an additional 5 floors for Ally in Phase 2.
The vision for the Ally Financial Center building development is to create a neighborhood experience. Located on the corner of Tryon and Stonewall Streets in the heart of Charlotte, it is easily accessible, and features contemporary retail and restaurant space on the ground level. As part of Syska’s intertwined work on the core & shell project and the fit-out for Ally, our technology designers coordinated access to the upper floors.
Ally’s new headquarters will include approximately 400 AV spaces within the building 14 telecom rooms 1 MDF full video IP system, videoconferencing in 150 spaces. The project also includes the Genetec security system with full access control and gunshot recognition within the floors being upfit.
The ICT services were selected to provide the best user experience with the latest video over IP technology throughout the building to share content for audio-video. This is established through the use of cutting edge telecommunications design and security design.
